Michael:

I think I found it. The other video that was on the website, as the pins

were in a different position. I think that the colors are Blue & White,

while the one on my 2006 Ford F-150 the pins are located in the connector are in

a different position. Hope this is the right connector. I in closed a photo.

It is near the center of the console and YES I might have to pull the

panel off to make it eraser to connect the wire harness, # 3035-P

I might take a couple photos of the install or maybe a video and send it to

you? michael.howell@etrailer.com

Question:

Cannot find the connecting block for the 2006 Ford F-150 under the dash. The Truck is pre-wired for the brake setup. The Prodigy P2 electric brake controller supplies power to your tow vehicles brakes proportionally. How do I find it under the dash? pictures please.

On a 2006 Ford F-150, the factory harness you are looking for will be located under the dash but on the right hand side near the center console. It may be difficult to reach so you may have to remove a dash panel to get to it.

Instead of just pictures, we have something even better. I have included a link to a video showing installation of a brake controller on a 2004 model that should help. The 2004 through 2008 Ford F-150 all take the same brake controller wiring harness, # 3035-P, so the instructions, which I have linked, should also help.

The only problem I had was locating the Connect Block under the dash of the Ford 2006 Super cab F-150, but did finally found under the center of the dashboard from the left door to the center of the Steeling Colum. Total time to install ½ hour as the Ford truck was pre-wired for pulling a trailer. Thursday, October 13, 2011 Ron Schaffer
